Machito's Afro-Cuban Jazz album from 1958 has all the right ingredients of a true Latin masterpiece. The horns created excitement and the bongos and the congas signalled exoticism and feverishness. 'Kenya' is a typical example of the popular Latin music that was made famous by the likes of Tito Puente around this time. This album is a true gem and deserves a listen.
