New two-track single ‘SULA’ from activist, poet and singer-songwriter Jamila Woods, out 18th September. ‘SULA’ was inspired by Toni Morisson’s novel Sula, which Woods uses as a foundation to explore gender, love, intimacy and sexuality. This follows Woods’ critically acclaimed 2019 album LEGACY! LEGACY!, a celebration of 12 iconic creatives that came before her.
