The song "Save Your People" was written by Terry Page the Senior Pastor of Mercy Church in San Luis Obispo California, Leeland Mooring of the band 'Leeland' and Luke Page of the band 'Citizen'. It originated at a prayer meeting at church during a time of intercession. The Pastor along with the leadership were praying specifically for the lost to saved & broken people to be healed. Furthermore, the church hosted an event in the city where they invited the band 'Leeland' & Luke Page to lead worship. During the time of prayer before the outreach event began everyone began to sing this simple & catchy chorus. From there Leeland added a part, and also Luke Page added a part to complete the song now sung worldwide.
