Originally recorded on an 8 Track analog machine in 1986, "On the Right Track" was written and performed by Slow Train which was Dess Applegate, Dustin Carpenter, Jeff Goss, Gary Smalley, Scott Smith and Scott Ridgeway. Julie Wilson joined the recording session for "Dream of Reality" which is possibly the best take on the album. This recording, which has not been available for more than 25 years, is all about the personal christian experiences of the band members. This was an era well before the christian entertainment industry became a powerful business model. Slow Train was, if anything, sincere, earnest, reverent and devoted to sharing their personal christian experiences. Take a few minutes to listen to the samples.
