Ronald Taylor aka Knockout (KO) was born and raised in The Henley Homes in Columbia, South Carolina. KO attended Dreher High school where he was a star athlete. Upon his graduation from High School he was given an athletic scholarship to attend Georgia State University. KO played two years for the school but due to a family situation he felt it best if he returned home. Now back in South Carolina KO ran into a friend of his name Hollywood who invited him to the studio. That first visit to the studio was all it took for KO to realize the second gift that he was given, the gift of expressing himself thru music. That day five years ago the group Hollywood & KO was formed. Together Hollywood & KO have released two mix tapes and were also featured on a number of different mix tapes. In the summer of 2009 KO felt like he had a lot of things to express and so came about his first solo mix tape (Knockout R&B Rap & Broads). This mix tape was an underground success and placed KO amongst South Carolina’s best. With the current release of his new single BIM, Knockout has become an artist that the whole family can enjoy. The radio friendly track still beats hard and the children on the hook are a winning combination. Also with the release of his first video for fore mentioned song, Knockout has shown he is not the artist you should count out. Up next the highly anticipated single “Pornstar” ft.
