Superhero formed out of a few guys with a desire to write and be heard getting together and fusing their personalities together with music. We put a set of songs together and started playing in the pubs and clubs in Glasgow. We started getting asked to play all over the place, recorded an ep and a year later, felt God say to give up the day jobs and go full time with the band! This was our greatest challenge and a big step of faith as we had no money at all. We have teamed up with some great people along the way, our manager, Gary Smith from Big Ideas, people from other bands have been a great help as well, and the latest being Furious Records which has been great. They are totally supportive and understand what we want to do. I think that our music is different, because it is spiritual,we like confronting people with the truth. Music is at it’s best when it moves you. We want to move people and stir people to act. We have played in some of the coolest venues in the UK, the Carling Academy venues, Manchester Apollo, King Tut’s in Glasgow, the SECC, The Forum in London, performed live in the MTV studios, had singles released in the UK and other parts of the world, South Africa, New Zealand and others. We work with a great producer, Alan Branch, who has worked with some of the biggest bands in the world and it’s been great fun, and it does feel a bit like we are living the dream. Still our faith is the most important thing in our lives, everything else comes second. In April 2007 we will start touring the USA for 3 months until the end of June and we are very excited about this new chapter in our story.
