Starting out in 2001 as the brainchild of front man Scott Lathwood, Ordain moved to Melbourne, Australia, where Aussies Matt Olthof and Andy Esposito joined up. Since that time, rock band Ordain has been feeding ideas and emotions into quality songs designed to excite, sadden and give hope to a broad listening audience, saluting the musical legends that once traveled a similar journey. With a unique brand of progressive rock, Ordain's music displays their passion for creativity and high standard of musicianship. The band strives for optimal musical originality while injecting a raw passion and powerful dynamic range into their songs. Ordain enjoyed success in their home base of Australia, where they placed three top five songs in the Australian JJJ Unearthed competition songs. During this time Ordain was invited to play in front of crowds in excess of 25,000 at the New Zealand Parachute Rock Festival. Now based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Ordain has begun to make their mark on North America. The band has recently completed its third U.S. tour, which included appearances on Good Day Austin in Austin, TX, WGN 9 in Chicago, IL, and KLTD 101.7 The Eagle in Temple, TX. The band also headlined rock night at the 5th Annual Bloomin’ Temple Festival, which has resulted in a significant increase in the band’s fan base in that area. From generating airplay to playing some great gigs, Ordain has made its presence known to North America. Partnering with Big Noise, an independent A&R firm that works with several noted artists, including Christina Aguilera, Katharine McPhee, Chicago, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ordain is prepared to take the music industry by storm.
