Katerine Avgoustakis, the beauty from Limburg with Greek roots, was born on 16 September 1983. Ever since she's been a toddler, she has sung and played the piano. She formed a band, Indiana, and they auditioned for Eursong with the song 'Imitation Love'. After that, Katerine called it quits for a while, until she entered the Flemish 'Star Academy'. She fully developed herself there. Her beautiful voice and appealing personality won the hearts of the jury and shot her to first place. She won the famed recordcontract. Her first single, 'New Day', hit gold and so did followup 'Here Come All The Boys', helped by the outstanding video made for the track. Katerine then bared her first album, the eponymous 'Katerine'. She may be young, but she's got talent for sale. No pain, no stress, Katerine conquers the stage and the jury. Not even Forest National can hold her back. She opened for the Backstreet Boys. Press and public were starstruck by her awesome performance.
