Now with their new record “You're My Favourite Scary Movie” the band aspire to bring a fresh approach to the genre with an album taking inspiration from cinematically dramatising the band's personal endeavours. Since the recording of Automation's first EP “Movements”, the band have moved on from their Drum N Bass origins and re-invented themselves through a soul searching quest to create something new and exciting. The new entirely self produced album hopes to bring listeners a fresh take on the post hardcore genre in the UK. From different musical backgrounds, the trio have merged together different paths of life into one colossal musical collision. Ben Crutchfield comes from Post-Punk, EDM and Classical front bringing influences from previous bands such as Oppression, Rusty and The Cheese and Theatre of a Broken Mind. Rick Verma's influences range from Hip Hop to Metal and incorporate many technical skills from such playing styles as Funk and Gospel.
