Carly Simon
Carly Simon（全名：Carly Elisabeth Simon）美国著名创作歌手，1972年获格莱美最佳新人奖，也是第一个获格莱美奖、奥斯卡奖、金球奖的艺人，1994年入驻Songwriters Hall of Fame（创作人名人堂），Haven‘t Got Time for the Pain全部入围十佳歌曲。在儿时就与姐姐Lucy组成了二重唱组合“Simon姐妹组”。作为组合的一员，她在1964年4月就发行了一首单曲《Winkin’Blinkin‘and Nod》。而作为其个人推出的首张专辑则是在1971年2月，包括她的首支热门单曲《That’s the Way I‘ve Always Heard It Should Be》。这首与Jacob Brackman合作的描述反抗婚姻妇女心声的歌曲登上了当时的排行榜Top Ten。Simon的第二张专辑《Anticipation》于1971年11月发行，在随后的两年内销量达到了金唱片数量。同名主题曲入围排行榜前四十，并帮助她获得了1971年的格莱美最佳新人奖。1972年11月她发行了第三张专辑《No Secrets》，主打歌《You’re So Vain》勇登金唱片榜首，并且引发了社会对此歌主题的探讨。此专辑另外一首主打歌《The Right Thing to Do》也入围了当年的四十佳。
