Narcissistic's first album, The Vicious Cycle, travels through his life on his battle with drugs and alcohol. After suffering from constant relapses, he realized that he had to become sober or he would end up repeating this whole lifestyle for most likely the rest of his life. After becoming successfully sober, he came to the conclusion that he is not the only one who went through a very vicious cycle, meaning that people go through the same thing every day. Because he has witnessed people who are determined to stay sober, but they struggle with the thought of their addiction that most likely, they are to repeat the same process of falling to drugs. Everything repeats, commitment to sobriety is lost, and all becomes, The Vicious Cycle.
