At some point in 2010 I was made aware of International Album Making Month - an experiment to try to write, record, master, and release an entire album in just one month. Writing and recording started on October 1, we constantly uploaded our rough mixes to a soundcloud group, listened to and commented on each others music. On October 31 it was pencils down, so I chose the name Octover. It was a great experience - I got very fast and efficient very quickly. I also learned a valuable lesson the painful way - you can't record vocals for all tracks on the last weekend. Five hours of singing and my voice was gone. This material is raw, demo-like, and funky.
