Don't be frightened! Bear Ghost is not made up of live bears, dead bears, or ghosts. However, they claim no responsibility should their music summon any of the previously mentioned whatever. Bear Ghost is a 4-piece rock band from Mesa, Arizona known for their high-energy shows, intricate songwriting, and quirky personalities. Taking influences from various genres, Bear Ghost brings deep layers, catchy melodies, and serious riffage to the rock/pop format with a unique sound that most have described as "Muse meets Disney villains". Most recently, Bear Ghost has been strutting around and parading an awful EP called "The Gang Baby & Friends" which was mixed on an 8-track and should never be heard by anyone. In fact, it is so awful that the entire state of Arizona rallied together and forced Bear Ghost to create a professional recording, this time with engineer Jeremy Parker (Mudvayne, Simple Plan, Slipknot). It is titled "Your Parents Are Only Marginally Disappointed In Your Musical Taste" and was released April 18th of 2014, as per the state's request. Since their debut, Bear Ghost has been working and stuff, leaving a trail of exhilarating musical experiences deep within the minds of old gramps, young gramps, small children, people who dress, and their fellow musicians.
