Kenny has been performing in the Southeast for the past 30 years on college campuses as well as in bars and coffeeshops and festival stages. He has fronted several bands over the years including the critically praised Dayroom Monitors, who played the original/indie rock scene of North Carolina in the mid-1980s. His songwriting was lauded then by none other than future Freakonomics author, Stephen Dubner, who said "Kenny's songwriting can't be ignored!" In 2003 he was a showcase artist at the Nashville New Music Conference as well as a NACA South showcase artist in Chattanooga, TN. Recently, he has expanded his musical influence to film, scoring the music for indie filmmaker, Joey Martin in his debut short film, Levon (Thatendlesshorizon.com). He is currently working on the music for Joey's next film, The Haunting of Four Points. Kenny and his wife Kathy were both in Levon (Agents #1 and #2) and will both be returning in Four Points.
