I wrote this album after spending a ton of time alone in my house in Dayton, Ohio. I started recording one song per day to YouTube as a sort of self-help therapy to help me get over a breakup. Like most people that hermit themselves away for months on end, I was primarily thinking about where I fit into the world, what my purpose is, why everything is the way it is, and what I'm supposed to *really* do with my life. The songs echo some of that, even though most were written earlier -- typically between 2014 and 2017. I recorded all the songs live and left all the little mistakes and imperfections in the recordings. It's all pretty honest stuff.
