David Earl Tomlinson is an infamous singer songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. Drawing inspiration from influences as diverse as the earliest recordings of Alan Lomax to Jeff Buckley and Chet Faker, the single consistent element in all the Earl's efforts is soul. Though not quite as organic and raw as the accolade winning "Local Anesthesia" EP,"Worth The Trouble" continues the theme of original soul with roots in early American folk.
