Ohio is a pop-orchestra from Norway. The group’s original sound is in large defined by a revolutionary style of tuba playing, that in itself is worth your time. Consisting of six guys with six completely different musical backgrounds, Ohio is what you can call a mashup of different genres and styles. Still the band operates well within the realms of pop music. They expand the genres limits by merging time-right pop music with jazz, funk and classical music, also experimenting with improvisational jams led by the group’s many incredible instrumentalists. Ohio have the ability to appeal to all of your musical senses. The music is both catchy and complex. Easy and hard. It is impossible to watch Ohio without jumping head first into their happy and care-free atmosphere where musical rules and boundaries doesn’t exist.
