Atlantic Starr
Atlantic Starr这个黑人团体成立于上个世纪70年代末，然后一直到80年代末这10年当中，他们都是美国最为顶尖的R&B组合。1976年，来自纽约的三个姓Lewis的黑人兄弟，以及由他们找来或雇来的的一些黑人音乐家组合成Atlantic Starr，其中包括女主唱Sharon Bryant，乐团人数最多到达9人，他们深受70年代非常走红的R&B团体，包括Earth、Wind&Fire，还有Lionel Richie领军的the Commodores的音乐风格影响，在乐团成立两年后和A&M唱片公司签约，并发行了他们第一张同名专辑《Atlantic Starr》，其中的单曲《Stand Up》使得他们小有名气，但使得他们成为超级明星的专辑还是在1981年发行的《Radiance》以及其中的单曲《When Love Calls》，其走红的最主要因素就是来自主唱Sharon Bryant富有超凡魅力的嗓音，而后来的经典专辑《Yours Forever》以及单曲《Touch a Four Leaf Clover》再次证明的这一点。 但以上的这些都还不足以让后人永远记得他们，一直到1987年，奇迹终于发生了，而奇迹的根源就来自当时发行的专辑《All In the Name of Love》里面的那一首《Always》。这首单曲最终也成为了他们所有单曲当中成绩最好的，Billboard单曲榜第一名。
