Ivan Cornejo is a singer and songwriter of Regional Mexican Music from Riverside, California. Alma Vacía, his 2021 debut album, was released in August, just two months after his 17th birthday; it peaked at number two on the Regional Mexican Albums chart, while the singles "Noche de Relajo," and "Corazón Frío" also charted Top 20. A week before his 18th birthday, he issued the full-length Dañado; it topped genre charts during its first week of release. In February 2022, Cornejo released the single "Perro Abandonado," a corrido of insufferable heartbreak. Two weeks later, he released "Triste" , a duet with . In June, a week before his 18th birthday, Cornejo released the romantic, ballad-centric Dañado, another seven-track album. Ivan is currently the second most consumed Regional Mexican artist in the US and top 10 overall Latin in the US.
